What a human can do in his short span of life, the devotion, the contribution to the country.  He is the pride of the nation. Netaji first hoisted the tricolour and declared Andaman Nicobar free from British rule in 1943. He stated that Cellular Jail is not just a monument, it is a  sacred place related to India's freedom struggle. Govt. is providing more importance to such places and heroes under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.<br />''Mr. Shah exclaimed, we are grateful to our freedom fighters and can not repay the contribution, but we can raise monuments, from which generations can take inspiration.  The memorial will remind us of Netaji's memories forever, he added. He mentioned, the Government brought under sea OFC Cable, Bridges are being built to enhance inter-island connectivity, and international terminal work will be completed soon. He assured that development will move forward to make islands self-reliant. The name of Andaman Nicobar will be written with golden words in the history with the naming of islands after PVC and building Netaji's Memorial. </span><br />
