Union Minister Alphons Kannanthanam will be the BJP candidate for the Rajya Sabha bypoll in Rajasthan. His name was finalised by BJP President Amit Shah.<br/><br/>The bypoll to the Rajya Sabha seat vacated by M Venkaiah Naidu on becoming the Vice-President will be held on 16th of next month. <br/><br/>The counting of votes will take place on the same day.
