In Uttar Pradesh, commercial services of Metro rail started in Lucknow today. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with Urban development minister Hardeep singh Puri and Governor Ram Naik flagged off the first train of Lucknow Metro a short while ago.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that people thronged to take a glimpse of the first metro train which moved from transport nagar metro station. <br/><br/>Female drivers duo was driving the Full decorated four coaches train in which Home Minister Rajnath singh , CM yogi Adityanath, union urban development minister Hardeep singh Puri and other dignitaries boarded as first passengers. <br/><br/>Home minister Rajnath singh which is also MP from the state capital congratulated people of lucknow and said that from now on Navabon ka Shehar Lucknow will also be known as Metro ka Shehar.<br/><br/>Principal adviser of Lucknow metro rail corporation E Shidharan popularily known as METRO MAN was also present on the occasion.CM yogi Adityanath said that UP government will make UP Metro Rail Corporation which will find the possibilities to run metro services in other cities of the state also. <br/><br/>Lucknow is the third city after Noida and Ghaziabad where services of metro rail started today. <br/><br/>For general public services of five metro trains will be available from tomorrow morning from 6 am to 10 pm everyday. LMRC has made special arrangements for Divyangs, ladies and Old age people in metro coaches. <br/><br/>Initially only 5 metro trains will be available for commuters and it will run between 8 stations that is from transport nagar to charbagh covering a distance of total 8.5 kilometers.
