Union Health Minister dedicates JIPMER International School of Public Health in Puducherry

<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya today dedicated the JIPMER International School of Public Health to the Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research in Puducherry. Lieutenant Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister N. Rangasamy were among the dignitaries who were present on the occasion.<br />''<br />''Dr Mandaviya extensively reviewed the functioning of JIPMER in every aspect. He stressed that the Modi Government is committed to strengthening the institution. The Minister was on a two-day visit to Puducherry. He attended various programmes in Puducherry and adjoined the Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu.<br />''<br />''Earlier, the Health Minister also attended a Yoga Session at the scenic location of Auroville's Amphitheatre near Maatri Mandir. Later, he laid the foundation stone for the International Centre of Excellence for training in Medical Entomology at ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre in Puducherry.<br />''<br />''Before leaving Puducherry, Mr Mandaviya also visited the adjoining Health & Wellness Centre in Kilputhupatu in the Villupuram district. He also interacted with the doctors and patients and also reviewed the teleconsultation facility at the centre. </span>
