Union government will establish Industrial Training Institutes in 229 developmental blocks of Uttar Pradesh under the National Efficiency Development Mission. Official sources said, about 820 Efficiency Development Centres will also be established under the Mission. These centres will be located in Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe dominated and underdeveloped Naxal affected areas.
