Union Tourism Minister Kishan Reddy has invited chief ministers of Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra requesting them to join inaugural programme of commemoration of the Hyderabad Liberation day to be held across these three state. The State of Hyderabad which was under the Nizam's Rule was annexed into the Union of India after a police action.  The Union Tourism ministry will be officially observing the 75 years of liberation commemorating the day.
