<br/>The Union Cabinet cleared the much awaited Head ends in the sky, HITS policy. It will not only enable a digital delivery platform for cable operators, but will also result in reduction in subscription rates as competition will increase in the distribution sector. This was disclosed by the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ambika Soni in New Delhi on Thursday after the Cabinet meeting.
