Union Cabinet approves continuation of Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund

<span style="color: #222222;">The Union Cabinet has approved the continuation of the Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund with an outlay of over 29 thousand 610 crore rupees for another three years up to 2025-26. The scheme will incentivize investments in Dairy processing, Meat processing and product diversification, Animal Feed Plants, and Veterinary vaccine and drug production facilities.</span>&nbsp;<br />”<br />”<span style="color: #222222;">Central government will provide a three percent interest subvention for eight years including two years of the moratorium for loans up to 90 percent from the scheduled bank and National Cooperative Development Corporation and NABARD. The eligible entities are individuals, Private Companies, Farmer Producer Organizations, and MSME companies. Now the Dairy Cooperatives will also avail benefits for modernization and strengthening of the dairy plants.&nbsp;</span><br />
