Union Budget 2022-2023 reflects intention & vision of PM Modi, says Kiren Rijiju

Union Minister of Law and Justice, Mr. Kiren Rijiju said that the Union Budget 2022-2023 presented by the Finance Minister reflects the intention and vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<br />''<br />''Mr. Rijiju said the budget is focused not only for the business community and the corporate but it is focused for the most common people living in the remotest part of our country and is very relevant for the Northeastern Region.<br />''<br />''He said this today at Dimapur during a press conference to discuss on the Union Budget 2022-2023 and other important issues of Nagaland. He further described that this budget is a self reliant budget which will ensure that we will not rely on imports and the supports from outside India or outside our own States.<br />'' <br />''Mr. Rijiju also highlighted about Prime Minister's special package for the Northeast PM-DevINE scheme which will be implemented by the North East Council with initial budget of 1,500 crore rupees.<br />'' <br />''The Minister also mentioned that the total budget allocation for the Northeast Region during the last year was 68020 crore rupees and this year it is 78040 crore which is a quantum jump of over 10000 crore. To this, he stressed on the need to care of our capacities and efficiently utilize all the budgetary allocations made by Centre.<br />'' <br />''Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mr. Neiphiu Rio expressed gratitude to the Union Minister for his visit to Nagaland and interacting with the State Cabinet and Officers on Union Budget 2022-23.  Mr. Rio also appreciated the special provisions of the Budget and for the PM-DevINE scheme. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Rijiju made a brief visit to Dimapur today held a meeting with Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and the Cabinet on Union Budget 2022-23.</span><br />
