India has said that there should be a uniform practice of issuing Visa by China to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir regardless of the ethnicity or domicile of the applicants. Reacting to Chinese foreign ministry statement on Tuesday that its policy of issuing stapled Visas to the people from the state remains unchanged, sources said that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and India's position on the issue has been articulated and conveyed to China. The Chinese statement comes ahead of a meeting between Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao scheduled for Friday on the sidelines of East Asia Summit in Hanoi in Vietnam.
