Congress reacted cautiously over the Supreme Court observation asking the Centre to take a quick decision on a Uniform Civil Code. Talking to a private TV channel, senior party leader Digvijay Singh said although the code is the part of Indian Constitution but it is a highly sensitive issue which concerns with different religions and faiths. He said Congress will deliberate internally and discuss with other political parties before giving any view on it. Mr. Singh said there is a need to make a consensus on the issue.
