An unidentified terrorist was killed today in an encounter with security forces in Baramulla district of north Kashmir.

A defence spokesman said in Srinagar, gunfight broke out between ultras and security forces, who had launched a search operation in Bijhama village in Uri tehsil of the district this morning.

The spokesman said, search operation is continuing in the area.
