In Afghanistan unidentified gunmen stormed a wedding party killing nine people including the groom. The incident occurred in eastern Nangarhar province on Wednesday where about 30 members of a family were gathered for a wedding party. The groom, his father and one of his brothers are also among the dead. A provincial govt. spokesman told that the assailants started firing indiscriminately. The attackers also set fire to a nearby house and a car. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. An International Security Assistance Force service member died following an improvised explosive device attack in southern Afghanistan today. The exact location of the incident has not been disclosed in the release.’
