Unhealthy diets, smoking & drinking raise oral cancer risk

Unhealthy diets, smoking and drinking are raising the risk of oral cancer in young people. A new study conducted by the Aberdeen University has found that smoking, drinking and poor diet were the main triggers of oral cancers like mouth, throat and food pipe cancers in people under the age of 50. Professor of epidemiology Gary Macfarlane, who led the study, said oral cancers are on the rise throughout the world.
