The United Nations General Assembly has been debating a report which accused both Israel and the Palestinians of committing war crimes in Gaza. The report was compiled by former war crimes prosecutor, Richard Goldstone. <br/><br/>Israel has tried to stop the adoption of an Arab-sponsored resolution at the UN which calls for an independent enquiry into the allegations contained in the report.<br/>The Goldstone report has already been condemned by the US House of Representatives which called it biased against Israel.
