United Nations General Assembly President-elect Ambassador Peter Thomson is arriving in New Delhi tomorrow to discuss the UN Security Council reforms with the Indian leadership.<br/><br/>India has been leading in the efforts for early completion of the long-pending reforms of the UN body.<br/>Mr Thomson will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj among others on Monday. <br/><br/>Besides UNSC reforms, combating terrorism and implementation of the ambitious Sustainable Development Goals will be high on the agenda of the meetings.<br/><br/>In July, the 193-member General Assembly had rolled over discussions on reforming the world body's top organ to its 71st session, which will be presided over by Mr Thomson as its President.
