Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, Sanjeev Sanyal said, it is the lowest since the survey began in the first quarters of 2018. <br />''<br />''He said, it shows unequivocally that growth recovery is generating jobs. Mr Sanyal underlined that India finally has a proper official unemployment rate that is published in a timely manner. <br />''<br />''He said, PLFS was earlier published with an inordinate delay. Mr Sanyal hoped that the public debate on unemployment will now use this indicator.The PLFS is released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.<br />
