In Indonesia, an undersea quake measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale jolted eastern parts of the country on Tuesday. An official of the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said the quake struck at 18:03 p.m. Jakarta time epicentered at 163 kilometres and with a depth of 10 km under sea bed, northwest Ambon, the capital city of Maluku province. However, no tsunami warning was issued and there were no immediate report of damage and casualties.
