He said that it's a matter of pride for Uttar Pradesh that the state has many important places related to the life of Lord Buddha.<br />''<br />''The delegation of 200 Buddhist monks from South Korea, traveling on foot from Bodh Gaya in Bihar completed their pilgrimage yesterday. The pilgrimage marked 50 years of diplomatic relations between India and South Korea and aims to increase friendship and collaboration between the two countries. They had started their journey in Uttar Pradesh on 7th March when they reached Kushinagar district.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports that as a guest of the Government of India, this delegation performed a special pooja along with a tour of the places associated with the life of Lord Buddha. The delegation includes 111 VIPs and 89 people as staff. After worshiping at the Mahaparinirvana temple in Kushinagar and the place of Mahaparinirvana, the delegation visited other important places related to Lord Buddha including Lumbini in Nepal. South Korean Monks traveled more than 1,100 km on foot over a period of 43 days as part of a walking pilgrimage organised by the Sangwol Society of South Korea. Delegation covered Buddhist holy sites in India and Nepal with the slogan 'Oh, We! Oh Love! Oh, Life!</span><br />
