Union Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal  has  said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi India is creating a distinct image of a leading player in the shipping sector.<br />'' <br />'' Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the Diamond jubilee celebration of Shipping corporation of India in Mumbai, Mr. Sonowal said that the Prime Minister has elucidated that transformation is possible only through transportation. He said, as a reason, modes of transportation such as waterways, roadways, railways are  are being strengthened.<br />'' <br />'' The minister said, important steps are being taken to further create a distinct image of India to strengthen connectivity and communication.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking on the issue of container shortage, he said that exporters have been assured that government will extend support to them.<br />''<br />'' The minister said that an aim has been set to take the export to 400 US billion dollars and various ministeries like commerce, shipping and external affairs are making efforts in this endeavour.<br />
