In Kolkata, one person was killed while number of pedestrians were seriously injured when a portion of a under construction flyover fell on the crowded road underneath. Locals informed that several persons are feared trapped under the debris. <br/><br/>The accident occurred this afternoon between the Vivekananda road and Kalikrishna Tagore street at Ganesh Talkies. Police, fire brigade and disaster management personnel were engaged in the rescue work when the reports last came in. The area has been cordoned off.
