The UN today slammed Venezuela for what it called its widespread and systematic use of excessive force against demonstrators. <br/><br/>The UN rights office said this in a statement, presenting preliminary findings from an investigation conducted in June and July. It said security forces were responsible for deaths of at least 46 protesters.
