The United Nations has called upon Myanmar Government to support a prompt and independent investigations into reports of violence against children, badly suffering due to the worsening inter-communal conflict in Rakhine. <br/><br/>In a statement, the UNICEF said thousands of children have been cut off from humanitarian assistance, especially in northern part of the state. The UNICEF called for full resumption of essential services and urgent lifting of all restrictions of movement to reach the affected children.
