The UN Security Council will hold an urgent meeting to discuss the latest North Korean missile launch. The meeting, requested by Japan, the US and South Korea, is to take place today evening. North Korea launched the missile yesterday, and South Korean military officials said it traveled about 500 kilometers before landing in the Sea of Japan. <br/><br/>North Korea conducted two unauthorized nuclear tests last year and launched nearly two dozen rockets in continuing efforts to expand its nuclear weapons and missile programs.
