Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said UN sanctions would have no affect on Iran. Talking to newsmen in Sanghai, he denounced the sanctions vote as a bid by the United States to control the Middle East and by the five permanent Security Council members to monopolize nuclear energy.
