The UN Secretary General has denied that he had made any comment on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the revival of composite dialogue with Pakistan at a recent press conference in New York. The External Affairs Ministry spokesman said that after media had attributed certain remarks to the UN Secretary General on the these issue, New Delhi had sought clarification through India's Permanent Mission at the UN.The spokesman said that the office of the UN Secretary General has clarified that no such question was raised at the press conference nor was any such comment made by the UN Secretary General.
