United Nations chief Antonio Guterres has announced that the UN summit of heads of counter-terrorism agencies will be held in June to forge new partnerships and improve trust between organisations to fight terrorism. <br/><br/><br/>In his remarks at an informal meeting of the General Assembly today, Mr Guterres said, there are distinct links between conflicts and the spread of terrorism. He said, it is clear that in countries like Afghanistan, moves towards peace will advance the fight against terrorism that plagues that country and spreads well beyond its borders. <br/><br/>The UN Chief said, terrorism needs globally coordinated responses to defeat it.
