The UN Security Council yesterday gave permission for a North Korean official under international sanctions to travel to the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics along with Kim Jong Un's sister. <br/><br/>South Korea presented on Wednesday a request to the council's sanctions committee for an exemption to the travel ban imposed on chairman of North Korea's National Sports Guidance Committee Choe Hwi.<br/> <br/>The exemption will also be extended to all members of the delegation, meaning that a ban on luxury goods to North Korea will be temporarily lifted. <br/><br/>Kim Yo Jong, the younger sister of North Korea's leader and a senior member of the Workers' Party, will be part of the delegation.
