Water Resource and Ganga Rejuvenation Minister Uma Bharti today accused West Bengal government of non cooperation in the Centre's efforts to clean Ganga. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, she said, several meeting were held on National Mission for clean Ganga but none of the representative from the state participated in the meeting. <br/><br/>She said, earlier previous Uttar Pradesh government was also not co-operating but the new BJP regime in the state is keen to make the holy river clean. Ms Bharti said, the stretch of the river at Kanpur is most polluted due to leather industry. She said, state government has infromed that it is planning to shift the industry from the area.
