An ULFA delegation led by its Chairman Mr. Arabinda Rajkhowa today met Home Secretary Mr. R K Singh in New Delhi today. The delegation had talks with Mr. Singh about two hour on their demands submitted by ULFA.

Talking to media after meeting, Mr. Rajkhowa said that the talks with the Home Secretary was positive. He said there is some progress in resolving some issues.

AIR correspondent reports that a tripartite meeting involving the representatives of Government of Assam, and ULFA was also held in April this year under the Chairmanship of Mr R.K.Singh in New Delhi to discuss demands submitted by ULFA.

Union Home Secretary had stated that time that he would review the progress of talks with ULFA periodically.
