In Kerala, Ukraine's FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk won the Sait Nagjee International Club Football tournament beating Brazilians Atletico Paranaense, 3-0 in the summit clash, at the EMS Corporation stadium at Kozhikode. While the first goal for Dnipro came in the 41st minute, the second and third goals were scored in the 61st and 85th minute in the second half. A total of eight clubs from Latin America, Germany and Europe had locked hornes in the tournament lasted for about three weeks. This is for the first time the Nagjee cup is won by a European team.
