The Uttarakhand government today claimed that evacuation of pilgrims and tourists from Badrinath will be completed by tomorrow evening if weather favours. Talking to media persons a short while ago, the state Chief Secretary Mr. Subhash Kumar said at Dehradun that sorties of helicopters took place this afternoon when weather improved. He said, about 1313 pilgrims were evacuated today from Badrinath, both by air and on foot.
