In Uttarakhand, Cabinet Minister Prakash Pant has lost the election from Pithoragarh constituency. According to reports Mayukh Mehar of Congress has wrested the seat from BJP with a margin of about 7000 votes.

In Udhamsingh Nagar district, BJP candidate Prem Singh Rana wins by a margin of about six thousand votes in Nankmatta, ST constituency.

BJP candidate Kiran Chand Mandal defeated BSP's Narayan Pal of BSP in Sitarganj seat.
