An Indian-origin British minister says the UK wants to make London as India's destination of choice for raising offshore finance. <br/><br/>In an address to the UK India Business Council on the 'Future of the UK-India Relationship' in London, Alok Sharma, minster in charge of Asia, says Narendra Modi wants Make in India, British government says Make in India, finance in the UK. <br/><br/>The minister also sought to clear up what he described as mis-perceptions and misconceptions around the issue of visas saying in the year up to March 2016, 89 per cent of Indian student visa applications are approved. India is UK's third-largest investor and second largest international employment generator responsible for over 1.10 lalk jobs in the UK.
