The British Foreign Secretary David Miliband is in China to discuss a variety of issues, including the global economy, climate change and concerns about Iran's nuclear programme. Mr Miliband said Britain's relationship with China was broad and the two countries should be seen as partners rather than competitors.<br/><br/>British officials, however, acknowledged that the relationship with Beijing is difficult for the moment. But Mr Miliband insisted that the two countries cannot be expected to agree on everything. He said he will be raising human rights in China during his meetings with senior Chinese leaders over the next few days.<br/>
