<span style="color: #222222;">The British government has released its first contingency plans for leaving the European Union without an agreement. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The government yesterday issued the first batch of technical notices covering 25 sectors, including financial services, medicines, nuclear materials and exports of goods. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The government plans to release more papers covering several dozen other sectors by the end of September.  </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a speech in London, Brexit minister Dominic Raab spoke about the need for new customs procedures if a no-deal Brexit happens. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said businesses will be given advice on how they will need to make import and customs declarations.The government plans to increase the number of border officers to avoid delays.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Raab referred to possible shortages of drugs imported from EU countries. He suggested that the government will work with industry to stockpile medicines for 6 weeks above normal operations.  Britain is to leave the EU in just over 7 months.</span>
