The Unique Identification Development Authority, UIDA, has decided to enroll Transgender while preparing the individual numbers. The Authority has taken a decision after a representation was received by them from a Bareilley based doctor. According to the Authority, enrollment forms will have a third column “T” for transgender along with the “M” and “F” columns for males and females respectively. Earlier, the Election Commission provided for similar enrollment.
