An Ugandan court has sentenced two men for the twin bombings that killed 76 people in the capital, Kampala last July. The court today sentenced Edris Nsubuga to 25 years in prison on terrorism charges and Edris Nsubuga received a five year sentence for conspiracy to commit terrorism. Both men had entered guilty pleas earlier this week. Prosecutors expect to call both men to testify in the upcoming trials of 12 other suspects in the Kampala bombings.The Somali insurgent group al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the suicide bombings, which targeted a group of people who had gathered to watch the 2010 World Cup final.
