The Uduppi Cochin Shipyard Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Ltd has bagged an international order worth 580 crore rupees for the design and construction of six new generation diesel-electric 3800 DWT general cargo vessels. The order for the "Future Proof Dry Cargo Vessels" came from the Norway-based M/s Wilson Shipowning AS.
