Shiv Sena Chief Mr. Uddhav Thackeray today appreciated six party workers who allegedly smeared face of Observer Research Foundation Chairman Mr. Sudheendra Kulkarni with black ink to protest former Foreign Minister of Pakistan Mr. Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri's book launch in Mumbai. Mr. Thackeray patted these activists for their work during his meeting at his residence in suburban Bandra this afternoon. The six were arrested last night by Mumbai Police in connection with the incident . All six were released on bail this afternoon.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Mr.Sudheendra Kulkarni, the main organizer of Kasuri's book launch event, today described himself as an 'agent of peace' and not a 'Pakistani agent' as labelled by Shiv Sena. <br/><br/>Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had yesterday disapproved of Shivsena's protests, saying the issue has brought disrepute to the state. He had said that one may not agree with views of somebody but when a foreign dignitary or a diplomat arrived on a valid visa and held a programme, which was not illegal, the state was duty-bound to provide protection.
