UAE residents are mourning the loss of lives of Indians in Mangalore air crash. Indian consulate has organised a condolence meeting this evening to mourn the victims of the disaster. Churches observed silent prayers during the mass services while hundreds joined Janazah prayers in absentia held in different mosques and other locations. Expatriate associations and community bodies shared the sorrow of the bereaved families and they are also considering offering financial assistance to the bereaved families. Air India has made arrangements to take the close relatives of the air crash victims to India. Regional manger of Air India Abhay Pathak told AIR that Air India had provided over 160 free tickets to fly victims’ relatives from Dubai to India.
