United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan has praised the role of Indians living in UAE in the developments of the country. He was speaking at a function organised by Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday evening to acknowledge the 90 years of the presence of Indian business group Jashn Mal in the Gulf region. Describing the contribution of Indian community in development of UAE as vital, he said that India and Gulf region have long history of friendship and cooperation and this will continue in years to come.<br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador of India to the UAE, Mr. Talmiz Ahamad said that India and UAE are linked in civilization terms and individuals and groups have played important roles in this direction.
