<br/>In a move that benefits large number of workers including Indians in United Arab Emirates (UAE), the UAE Ministry of Labour will issue work permits only to those firms, which has sufficient space in their housing units apart from proper services.<br/><br/>The Director of the Office of Management Service in Dubai Aisha Belharfia said during the Open Day session in Dubai that applications for issuing work permits are electronically transferred to the ministry’s Inspection Department, which inspects the facilities and the labour accommodation. It checks for living conditions provided in the accommodation, regardless of the firm’s other records and facilities before giving green signal for work permits.
