UAE, Germany urge Iran to cooperate with Int Community on nuclear issue

The United Arab Emirates and Germany have said that Iran must do more to alleviate the international community's concerns about its nuclear programme.Following a meeting with his German counterpart in Abu Dhabi, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahayan said Iran must cooperate with the UN security council and the International Atomic Energy Agency. He asked Iran to show more cooperation and action to set the mind of the international community and its neighbours at rest.He said that UAE views cooperation with Iran as significant but also looks at the issue of non-transparency in the Iranian nuclear programme with concern. The German foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle is visiting the UAE as part of a tour of the region.
