In the United Arab Emirates, a fire has broken out in one of the world's tallest residential buildings in Dubai. According to Local Authorities the blaze broke out at the 79-story Torch Tower in the central Marina district in the early hours today and it has been extinguished.<br/><br/> Dubai police commander-in-chief, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, said the fire started on the 63rd floor. He said no casualties were reported from the blaze. Local police and fire-fighting authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze. <br/><br/>The Marina district is lined with high-rise condominiums and hotels and is home to a large number of expatriates.
