U.S. stocks climbed on 7th Feb 2023 amid volatility. The three major indices rose as investors digested comments from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell about how long the central bank may need to tame inflation.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.8 per cent, the S&P 500 gained 1.3 per cent and the Nasdaq Composite index climbed 1.9 per cent.
