US air strikes have killed more than 80 Islamic State terrorists at Sirte in Libya. US Defense Secretary Ash Carter said, some of these IS terrorists were were plotting attacks in Europe. Carter said that there is a need to strike IS everywhere they show up. <br/><br/>A Pentagon spokesman said, an initial assessment indicated the US military strikes on Wednesday night destroyed two camps at southwest of Sirte. The United States carried out nearly 500 air strikes against Islamic State terrorists in Sirte between August and December last year. <br/><br/>
