India have entered the semi-finals of the ICC Under-19 World Cup cricket tournament, which is being held in Bangladesh. In the quarter-final at Fatullah yesterday, they defeated Namibia by 197 runs. Electing to bat after winning the toss, India piled up 349 for 6 in their 50 overs. Rishabah Pant was the top scorer with 111 which came off 96 balls. Chasing the mammoth target of 350, Namibia were all out for 152 in 39 overs. The African side was expected to show more fight in the quarterfinals after it famously knocked out defending champions South Africa in the group stage.
