Typhoon Noru leaves 2 dead, nine injured in southwestern Japan

Typhoon Noru is bringing violent winds and heavy rain to Japan's southwestern prefecture of Kagoshima leaving two people died and nine injured. The Meteorological Agency said the typhoon was 30 kilometers west-southwest of Tanegashima Island today morning. <br/><br/>It said Noru, packing winds of 126 kilometers per hour near its center, will get very close to the main island of Kyushu during the day without losing strength. <br/><br/>The Agency has warned of mudslides, floods, swollen rivers, violent winds, high waves and high tides. Noru has also forced the cancellation of many transportation services in Kyushu.
