Typhoon kills at least 30 people in Vietnam

Typhoon Mirinae that hit Vietnam has killed at least thirty people and left eight missing in the central provinces of Vietnam. Vietnamese official newspaper People reported on Wednesday that among the typhoon-hit provinces, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa were the three worst-stricken ones. The typhoon damaged over 4,000 houses and thousands of local people were made homeless. A large area of Phu Yen province is still deep under the flood water.
